Whoo so much math today!
I began the day with a Linear Algebra test, and from 4-6 and 8:30-11:30 (total 5 hours) I worked on the take-home Multivariable test, which I still haven't finished (1 of 8 problems left to do), and when I do I'm going to rewrite it since it's just scribbles on various sheets of paper that are not in any way organized.

Tomorrow I have the Multivariable Calculus test due, a reaction paper due (which I have not even started on), and a computer program (which I've finished and it's totally ready to turn in and everything). But still, the test and the paper I need to do. And, y'know, classwise and workwise, I'm not stressed in the least. If I have to do 7 hours of schoolwork on a Wednesday, then I do. Fair enough. I still made time to take a nice long nap, go out to eat, and have a talk, not to mention waste time on LJ and AIM (like now).

Anyway, the real reason I wanted to post was that when I was studying my Linear Algebra at the last minute, I noticed this in my notes (this is a direct quote, nothing changed):

- Person comes in late to class and,
in the middle of lecture (lecture done by
much older person than others), the person
stands up
(And then there's a big X over the main paragraph)

Y'know, I remember writing that. But I honestly don't remember what the guy stands up and does. I wish I could. It was apparently at least a little funny, if I liked it enough to almost write it down. But yeah, that's what I'm doing in Linear Algebra.

Welcome, one and all, to Project Tuesday Evening Post. You know the Saturday Evening Post? Completely unrelated. I work at the library on Tuesdays from 5PM to 9PM and AIM is not allowed, so I encourage (light) conversation to be made with me through the comment feature of LiveJournal on this post. Anything you wanna talk about. If this works out well, I may do it again sometime. I work till nine, so until then, the Jonathan is in!

I'm alive.

Hattiesburg got a pretty good bit of damage, though. Westgate lost power and water on Monday, and still doesn't have it (and it doesn't look like it's coming on any time soon). We finally were able to get gas today and so we immediately went to my roommate Julian's house in Madison (close to Jackson), MS. And that's where I am now. Hurray for showers and air conditioning and food.

I so did not expect it to be this bad. But I hope everyone fared at least as well as I did.

In a (play money) No Limit Hold 'Em tournament on PokerStars with 2041 entrants, I came in FIRST.

Quite happy about this.

This is my favorite flash cartoon ever.
And it really is good. Honestly. Not in a "flashing lights and pop culture references to speedy Japanese music" kind of way, or a "loop a scene from a TV show to the chorus of a well-known song" kind of way.
If you're not busy, you should watch it.

That is all.

Went home for a little while. Coming back to USM today. First final's Thursday. When I receive the last of my mix CD's (comment if you are planning on making me one and haven't done so / given it to me yet), I'll post top 5 lists of each of the mix CD's received (already completed for all those currently received). Mostly posting to say that I have a new batch of icons.

And then I turned 19. I'm 19? That's the first time I've said so. Wow. Now I have to make such big changes in my life like where my user info says "eighteen."

And thank you for all the "Happy birthday!"'s I've gotten today!

(As of the time I make this post, 5:45, I'm 19.)
